well , I finally found the time to update this thing .

a little late for me , but yeah , SPM's over ! (:

before SPM , I was expecting the after SPM feeling would be like , unimaginable .

am I happy ? not really.

am I relieved ? a little.

I used to dread about tuitions. day in, day out, tuition tuition tuition.

after a long day in school. I just wanna go home and sleep.

but nope. after a short nap, tuition.

tuition does occupy a lot of our time.

but now that tuitions are ending one by one,

I'm gonna miss tuitions.

seeing friends outside school hours.

meeting friends from other schools.

sigh.

had so much fun, release stress.

last session of dhamma class.

yes, I still attend dhamma class, instead of going for Youth. I've been there since 6. I know, somewhere along the line some of you attended SJBA dhamma class too, but quit. I hate waking up early on Sundays too, it's the only day to sleep in, as I have Scouts on Saturdays. But somehow, I managed to stay 'til today, as the oldest class, along with huixian and leon. (:

so I just got back from the last session for the year. only 5 people from my class came today (stupid leon). we didn't go back to our own classes, the teachers organised a game for the whole session to play together. so since there's only about 10 seniors, they made us group leader each group and split the cute little kids (I don't know how old they are but they are the majority) and some form1's to form3's.

so we played this game, something like a combination of charades and pass the message. each group lines up, and the first person is given something, and has to act it out without telling what it is. then the next one pass it on to the next one until it reaches the last person, the last person has to guess what it is.

My group had about 14 people, about 8 of them were the little kids, and a few form1's. Somehow, my group ended up as the last two, tied with another group. I was the last person, so I had to guess. the little kids in my group were super sporting and supportive, trying to tell me what it is. So the last two groups had to do the chicken dance, and the other groups get to choose who gets to win.

well, my group won, but that's not the point. the reason I'm writing about this is because I really envy the little kids. even though the game wasn't exactly the most interesting game in the world, and each group had to take turns, going each group at a time, they still managed to give all their attention to the groups standing in front, with all patience and support.

after each group did the chicken dance, the teacher asked which group they wanted to win. some pointed at the other group, some pointed at us shouting "group 9, group 9..". I was a little bit shocked. the only thing that my mind could come up with to explain their actions is - unconditional support.

I guess maybe what I'm trying to say is I wish I could be like them.

to do everything with all your heart, to not calculate the probability of something, or considering whether what I'm doing for that person is worth it or not, and just go with your gut.

it's not like I earned a big prize or anything at all today, but still.

I'm really grateful. thank you for making my day. even if you don't realise it.

so another week has passed. and we're now down to the single digit. I am terrified. I don't know if I'm ready. everyone looks pretty prepared to me, so I'm pretty worried.

what have I been up to this week? coffee bean. starbucks. tuition. online. tv. yeah, that's pretty much it. oh and sleep.. lots and lots of sleep.

October started a bitch.

looking back at my older posts, the moment October chipped in my life started to suck. family problems, rushing in, rushing out, trials, exams, passing up forecast results, etc etc. it was all so.. busy. everything was so f-ed up until I neglected the little things that made October.. kinda happy.

Prom. not a bad way to end October at all. well, it wasn't "the bomb" after all. in fact, it was kinda boring. and I went late so I was kinda disappointed I miss the part where everyone stands outside before going in. but yeah, I enjoyed the photo session, a few bands, and just hanging out with the people I cared about.

the best part of prom was that the whole room was filled with familiar faces. sad to say this is the last time we would have the opportunity to be in a ballroom filled with just us form5's. can't believe this is it. this marks the end of our high school year. and I'm sure everyone feels it.

it was only after prom only I started looking at October in another perspective. I joined kasturi. which was fun. had focus SPM. which was fun too. I really enjoyed being in the hall with everyone. kinda like in a tuition. it was a good feeling. then, there was prom. something to look forward to. C:

I would blog about prom. I want to. I wanna write about how much effort girls put in just to look beautiful that night. how emily, diane and I went kimarie to get our hair done. how it was like rushing about in Rushan's house doing make up. how we ended up so late. how prom ended in just a blink of an eye.

but I guess it's time to study. Before prom, I excused myself for not studying. But now that it's over, I'm STILL not in the mood to study. I keep thinking about that past, thinking about the things I wanted to do. or would've done. I know I shouldn't live in regret. and everything happens for a reason. I keep telling myself that.

so from tomorrow onwards, no more slacking off.

so I noticed everyone's pretty excited about prom.

making suits, shopping for dresses, shoes, planning what hairdo and make up to do. it all seems pretty nice. to have something to look forward to, I mean. I don't expect prom to be "the bomb" or anything. it's just performance and food right? I don't know I've never been to a prom. and I guess so haven't most of us. but the preparation and the planning, it all seems so, important. like everyone's gotta dress up crazily and super glam. uh-oh.

a little safe to say, I got my dress. but that's about it. but I'm kinda worried it's not "formal" enough. no shoes, no accessories. don't even know what hair and makeup I wanna do either. and I didn't even bother at all until I realised everyone's so excited about it and planning everything. I thought prom was just like another IR. damn, lol.

so now I'm .. blank.

oh well. still not doing anything about it though. lazy ahhhh... needa go shopping mall find shoes.. lecehnyaaaa..

JPS soon to be over, one more paper to go. Accounts, :O. For this exam, I actually felt that sense of relief. Relieved that I don't have to go school anymore. Not everyday I mean. Sadly, I doubt I'll do well in this exam. I could say I didn't take leaks, but overhearing people talking about leaks is also counted as "taking leaks" I guess. Unintentionally.

I should hardcore some accounts now. But here I am. Yesterday right after chemistry & physics 3, it was like play day. After all, it's just JPS. en.kang came in our class and said how useless it was to us. LOL. He's not exactly right, nor wrong. It's not useless, getting us ready for SPM. Just when I thought things would get better, it didn't. Just when I thought things couldn't get any worst, it did. The whole last week I lived in a half empty house. Just my dad and I. But we both did our own things, and he sleeps really early. So it doesn't really make a difference. Since it's exam week and I have to study, as far I know, it's empty. When I hear things from downstairs, I'd pray that it's just that effing rat.

Eating out everyday, sickening. Throughout the whole week, I'd go out every time I get the chance to. Hanging out at my cousin's house. Going zhenni's house to group study. even though I didn't study much, but it did cheer me up a bit. At least keep my mind off things for awhile.

well, mommy's back. but things didn't get any better. I mean, to the fact that she's back is awesome enough. but it's not that ...

Chemistry, my favourite subject. Looking at the questions I thought to myself, I know this.
But all I did was stare at the question, and screwed the damn paper.

I hate seeing people I love in pain. My bro, my mom, my dad. My parents miss my brother a lot. And my brother's having a tough time there. All alone. Compared to them, I'm in no position to say I'm not okay. 'cause they are having an even harder time than I am.

I act like I don't give a damn. I can act like I'm okay.

well, this is the life.

this two week holiday has been great.

sleeping at 3/4am, eating anytime I want,

and having lots of time to myself.

mostly summing up to just going out with friends, studying, and ball.

this is so much better than school days when you just go to school and rot.

or talk to friends.

it's different when you skip school to stay at home.

the holidays are like, everyone's home.

well technically it's not national day for the whole Malaysia,

Malaysia Day is like 16 September.

I don't really get it, so what do Sabah, Sarawak & the rest do today? not celebrate?

After a typical Monday school day , I made my way to the street mom usually waits for me , and hopped in 'mom's taxi' . We were waiting at the usual traffic light , minding our own business . Then suddenly , mom tapped me on the shoulder and pointed at the direction of her side of the car .

There was this old lady , walking ON THE ROAD , going car by car , asking for money . Many cars/lorries just ignored her , but she just continued walking . Soon enough she was beside our car , and we just gave an awkward smile , not knowing what to do . Then , she walked towards the car behind us . The man in the MyVi wind down the window , and gave her some money .

I looked to the car on my right . It was an MPSJ car .

" Aren't they suppose to do something ? " I pointed .

No . Apparently mom said it was up to some welfare department to take action .

" Can't they do something ? "

Mom : " look at them . "

There were three men in the Jeep , happily living in their own little world , chatting away .

Can WE do something ?

I mean , it's like if we DO give her money , she'll think what she's doing now is working , so she'll continue doing it . Right ?

But if we DON'T give her money , who knows how could she survive .

so what do we do ?

by the end of the day , it all comes down to one thing .

time to appreciate the little things in life ,

because afterall , the most precious thing in life ;

is life itself .

woke up around 6am , had an immediate stomach cramp .

was soooo nervous !

arrived at MPSJ , and was shocked by the amount of people who were already there.

everyone looked extra energetic this year ,

happily carrying out their respective duties,

maybe 'cause of our head mistress' retirement ,

Now , I finally get to blog what I have been up to this whole of March. (:

but first,

let me show you the fortune cookie I got during CNY @ Leslie's house,

well, I think I manage to "fulfill" my fortune.

one way or another. :P

firstly,

My first (and last) year joining MSSD Track & Field.

it was an awesome experience laaah honestly,

regret not joining for the past few years.

but don't regret joining this year. :D

events I joined, individual : 800m & 1500m.

team event : 4 x 400 m. :D

4 by 4 team , gold . :D

congratulations to Eugenia Edwin Gallan ,

for sapu-ing all 5 events she joined with gold. *salutes

& of course to all the other winners from SMK Seafield (that I can remember) ,

individual events : Diane, YeeFung, Eu-Nise, Carlos, WenWen etc etc..

team events : 4 x 400m (L1) , Azri , Akmal, Jayhan & Carlos .

4 x 100m (P1) , Ivy , YeeFung, WenMin & Anusha .

sooo yeah , that was were I've been all day during early March .

then it was the March break, for a whole week !

and after the holidays, Tuesday was MSSD Merentas Desa already, 6km. D:

first time joining MSSD Merentas Desa too,

congrats to Johanna, secretary tersayang-ku, 4th place. :D

theeennnn,

all the top 8 got qualified to go MSSS.

so Johanna and I went ! :D

both of us first timers. x)

training Wednesday - Friday .

competition : Saturday .

damn fast right, omg. :\

MSSS CAMP !

place : SMK Seksyen 7 , Shah Alam.

competition : Sepang @ some super far-in kampung area

on our way to Sepang on Friday for the trial run.

& on our way back, night already.

it takes about one and a half hour plus to get there, and get back,

so by the time we got back it was about 9pm , and we were starving. :\

then ate, wash up clean up, and tucked in about 11pm.

then, woke up @ 4am,

and by 5am all of us were in the bus,

leaving Shah Alam to Sepang.

arrived there about 7am,

warmed up, briefing, blah blah.

and ran about 9am ?

the standard cross-country for MSSD and MSSS (P1) is 6km,

but my friend's dad used the car meter to measure the road we ran,

and she said it was actually 7.5km. :O

I was shocked, and super scared I wouldn't make it. :\

but yeah, managed to run without stopping.

and got 20th place.

not bad lahhhh, first time, some more whole Selangor right. :X

but kinda sad also lah, medal they give until 15th place only.

MSSD they give until 20th. :\

but, at least we got 3rd place for the team event.

Petaling Perdana got bronze in the team event for L1, P1, L2 and P2 .

for P1 , all 6 of us ran 16th, 18th, 20th, 23th , 34th and 37th. heh (:

I am NOT up to date with my studies at all, I feel very lost. :\

retook exam on Friday, and I really didn't do well.

kept thinking about MSSD,

all my classmates said the exams were super easy.

so I just took the exam without preparation.

after retaking 3 exam papers, wanted to head back to class.
